Leta Alverri Burch’s style is intuitive post-modern, and it changes periodically. Many of her pieces are inspired by images of her late pet cat, Lulu, along with the music of the Beatles. Her artwork is influenced by the Midwest along with yoga, Tayi, and QiGong.
Leta was born in Decatur, Illinois, and is where she has lived most of the time, except for forays to Elgin, Illinois, Western Australia, and China for a while. She studied at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
