Artist Profile
Anesha Martinka

“In my artistic practice, I utilize canvas and cardboard as foundations, employing acrylic and metallic markers to convey my internal landscape. My work is characterized by abstract forms, geometric patterns, and intricate doodles, all executed with attention to detail. Through the application of bold and rich colors, I aim to evoke specific emotions and invite viewers into a dialogue with the piece.
I draw inspiration from the pioneering abstract compositions of Wassily Kandinsky, whose exploration of color and form resonates deeply with my own artistic journey. Additionally, the immersive and repetitive motifs found in Yayoi Kusama’s work influence my approach, particularly in the use of detailed patterns and vibrant hues.
By blending these influences with my personal vision, I strive to create artworks that are both visually engaging and emotionally evocative, offering a space for reflection and connection.
