Robert Lumpp

Captain Bob is a retired Mississippi River boat pilot who is now a full time fine artist. Prior to working on the rivers operating passenger vessels, he had an extensive career in broadcasting, commercial art and advertising.

While primarily a landscape painter, he has begun expressing his patriotism by painting dramatic images of the American flag. His renderings of Old Glory convey its strength and endurance through this nation’s tribulations and triumphs. His flags grace numerous offices, homes and private collections.
