How do I become a member?
Gallery 510 is now putting out a call for artists of current 2-D and 3-D work for consignment. If you are interested, please send or bring a one time jury fee of $30, SASE, 6 slides (or actual work), as well as artist statement and biography to:

Submission Information: All artists (18 years and older) producing original work are eligible. There is a $30 jury fee retained by Gallery 510. Jury fee becomes first years annual membership fee if work is accepted. Notification letters will be sent out as individual artists are reviewed. Gallery 510 hosts "First Friday", a reception to open the new month's show featuring one or more artists, held on the first Friday of each month with hours of 5pm - 7pm. Three times a year we partner with the other downtown galleries for a gallery walk. These hours are extended to 8pm. and is open free to the public with light refreshments served.

Decatur is celebrating the 45th year of hosting an art show in historic Central Park in downtown Decatur. This juried art show is sponsored by Decatur Area Arts Council, the Downtown Decatur Council and Gallery 510 Arts Guild, Ltd. We are dedicated to sponsoring an art show of the highest quality. There is a festive atmosphere with music, childrens activities and food booths creating a pleasant and rewarding experience for everyone.

How are art sales and liability handled?
Consignment artists will be charged a 40% commission and payment will be made on sales within 30 days. All artwork in the gallery will be insured. Store proceeds go toward Gallery 510 Arts Guild, Ltd. progam support.
